Create a lock
From choosing a token to confirming your position.
Your first commitment
Connect your wallet
Connect a compatible browser wallet and use the network shown in the app. Keep enough of the network's native token to pay transaction fees.
Choose the token and amount
Search the token picker or enter a token address. Check the address, network and decimals before entering the amount. Token names and symbols alone do not establish identity.
Choose your duration and exit mode
Select a preset or enter a custom duration within the current limits. Choose a flexible lock with an early-exit penalty, or No early exit to commit the principal until maturity. The confirmed block time determines the actual start and unlock timestamps.
Approve the vault
If needed, approve the selected amount. An existing nonzero allowance may need to be reset first. Approval authorizes spending; it does not create the lock.
Confirm the lock
Submit the separate lock transaction. Wait for confirmation before treating it as complete. The confirmed transaction creates a position ID and moves the exact requested token amount into the vault.
Read the terms you are accepting
| Term | Contract default | What can change |
|---|---|---|
| Allowed duration | 1 day to 4 years | Current limits can change, within a hard maximum of 10 years. |
| Initial early-exit penalty | 25% | Current terms can change, within a hard maximum of 50%. |
| Final early-exit penalty | 0% | Current terms can set a nonzero floor before maturity. |
| Matured release penalty | 0% | The vault releases the recorded principal without a protocol penalty. |
The first three values are defaults, not a statement of today's settings. A new flexible position records the penalty terms at execution. For flexible locks, the app submits maximum acceptable penalty terms with the transaction, so a higher initial or final penalty causes a pending lock to revert. Later administrative changes do not rewrite an existing position's snapshot.
