Conviction Documentation

Fund a campaign

Offer rewards to lockers with a defined budget and window.

Create your reward stream

A campaign, also called a bribe in the app, pays positions locking one chosen token. Each campaign has its own funder, reward token, fixed window, streaming rate and minimum conviction weight. Campaigns do not require permission from the locked token's issuer.

  1. Choose the audience and reward

Select the token whose lockers you want to reward. Pay in that token itself or an eligible reward token. A token available for locking is not automatically eligible to reward other tokens.

  2. Set the funding and duration

Choose a budget and a window between 1 and 365 days. Review the fee, net reward amount and shared daily rate. The default campaign fee is 2%, with a contract cap of 10%; the app reads the current fee.

  3. Set the minimum conviction

Choose the weight required for payments to flow. The app expresses this as an equivalent token amount locked for 30 days. The suggestion is a starting point, not a guarantee that the threshold will be met.

  4. Approve and fund

Approve the reward amount, then confirm the campaign transaction. Review any replacement commitment. The transaction enforces your minimum net funding and maximum accepted replacement obligation.

When rewards flow

The fee is deducted from the amount received and reserved for the CONV removal mechanism. The net amount determines the campaign's streaming rate over its fixed duration. An eligible reward token has a configured minimum net daily rate. A campaign paying in the locked token itself uses a supply-based minimum of roughly one hundred-thousandth of its reported supply per day, subject to raw-unit rounding.

A stream pays only when recorded total weight is positive and meets its minimum. Below that threshold, streaming pauses while the campaign clock keeps running. Each campaign has its own threshold and fixed window.

Pauses do not extend the window or create catch-up payments. This example uses a budget after fees, with no replacement obligation. Reclaim returns unused funding to the funder only once the campaign ends.

Understand campaign capacity

Each reward token has two simultaneous campaign slots for a given locked token. When both are occupied, qualifying new funding can replace a nonpaying campaign or outfund the smallest paying campaign's remaining amount. Campaigns in different reward tokens do not compete for the same slots.

There can be up to eight reward tokens and sixteen live streams for one locked token. A reward-token slot is reserved for the locked token itself until used. Reward-token registrations persist, so capacity is more than a count of campaigns currently paying.

Reclaim unused funding

Open Your funding to inspect remaining rewards, commitments and the refundable amount. After a campaign ends, Reclaim returns the refundable balance to the original funder. Anyone can submit this action, but cannot change its recipient. A campaign without replacement obligations generally refunds unstreamed funding; fees and streamed rewards do not return.

There is no ordinary cancel-and-withdraw action for an active campaign. Remaining funding is not necessarily refundable funding. The app confirms the actual returned amount from the completed reclaim transaction, and older campaigns may require loading more history.
